With the impact of IT resources on our economy, various industries, organizations, communities, government agencies and institutions, the role of sound IT Asset Management [ITAM] cannot be overstated. ITAM brings multifunctional best practices to the lifecycle of technology-related resources.

as enormous impact on the overall health of an organization. The process of converting the organization’s data into a OLTP relational database platform involves several factors, including:

1. The starting point for this work involves a number of disparate sources, or authoritative sources, for divisional, functional, channel, and/or product/service category operations.

2. Often the current organizations itself is the result of merger and acquisitions that introduced differences in data management policies and definition standards

3. Legacy systems, unless tightly managed during their developments, might consist of different technologies.

4. New database platforms must be integrated into complex systems environments. That includes pre-implementation parallel testing to confirm the proposed database against a base or reference set of data.

As such, the overall design/build process and ongoing administration must follow carefully planned migration schedules, policies, service level agreements [SLAs], and human resources deployment. Further, organizations must commit to thorough documentation (e.g., data dictionaries) and performance tracking to ensure the growth of the database solution occurs in a highly-disciplined manner.

Our experience in delivering OLTP databases guides the client through the early stages of data analysis, where we consider the key requirements, challenges, and implications of the future. We are comfortable in designing logical database designs in a wide range of industries, from healthcare to financial services, from manufacturing and distribution, to R&D. Once the client has confirmed the logical designed, we undertake the task of fitting requiring to the appropriate relational database management system [RDBMS] plaform (e., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and building the physical database. Upon testing and completing companion deliverables (e.g., documentation), we integrate the new solution into the client’s operations.
